I love how Sonnys assassins all wore these impeccable suits and gloves. Thats how you whack someone in style. Al Pacino was absolutely mesmerising as Michael Corleone. Even the slight twitch in his pupils or a position of his mouth is just genius. This guy was too fearful for his life, he could have use the situation to leverage a future favor with Don Corleone but his fear betrayed him. Could have just done business without wavering and be on Vito's good side. Being a coward didn't do him any good.

Sonny is a great character. My favorite among the three brothers.

When I think of what The Godfather looks like, I see Marlon Brando. I don't even see Pacino, even though, he's the main focus of the movie. THAT'S how much I loved Brando in this role. One of the GOATs. How do you like that, youtube interrupted this music TWICE with their crummy commercials. For justice we must go to Don Corleone. Vitos character is amazing man, he constantly speaks with respect even when threatened. Shows how strong he is emotionally, he seriously never gets too hung up. Puts logic and charisma into everything. De Niro was perfect in this.

We're they firing peas at sonny he was hit 600 times and still opened the door to pay the toll. Moe died like he yawned then went to sleep lmao. Neat. And Marlon Brando sure did an amazing job in this scene too. Plus, I can see him showing this scene to his son Miko and his friend Michael Jackson (since Miko was Michaels bodyguard and one of his friends) and then asking Michael what he would do in the role of Vito Corleone (which I think Michael wouldve liked to do, since he and Marlon were good friends.

When I'm down. depressed. rough day at always perks me up. Never fails. Feel good theater. Never go anywhere without your lucky coat... There was not a single acting performance in this film that wasn't mesmerizing. The movie is very old. When I watched this movie, I was still young. I didn't understand the truth. When I grew up and watched it again, I really had a taste.
